Our house is located in a most unusuall and exraordinary place.We are located just on the eastern edge of the great divide in the old historic gold minning town of " Alice" also known as St. Mary's Glacier. Among other gold mines of the 1800's Alice ( St. Mary's Glacier) was where the "Glory Hole Mine" was. At one time we could boast a daily stage coach run from Central City thru Alice and down to Idaho Spings. To this day you can still pan for gold up here just like in the old days.
     Being on the edge of the Great Divide we are also just below tree line and the "Tundra". It's like being in an ocean of mountain tops and a great place to hike in the James Peak Wilderness area.

     We have a lot of history up here from the gold minning days of the 1800's to now. Did I mention that St. Mary's Glacier is the future home of the Eclips Snow Park as well. They hope to open this comming fall and will make a great place to come and snow board and ski too. We'll  have hiking, mountain climbing, gold panning in the summer and skiing and snow boarding in the winter.
     This is a great place to save on lodging cost for skiing, snow boarding, cross country skiing,hiking, fishing, gold panning and mountain climbing outings and vacations. Comfortable mountain home in private forest setting. Three bedrooms with two and a half bathrooms. Wrap around deck with a hot tub. Vaulted ceilings with lots of windows, radiant floor heat and a wood burning stove. Spacious master suite , soaking tub with a view and stereo sound system. We supply Dish network TV and high speed internet. Second bedroom has a queen size bed, third bedroom has twin beds and a hide a bed sofa in the living room. The house sleeps eight comfortably.
